Intake manifold sensors are integrated into a single module and installed in the intake manifold. There are the following intake manifold sensors:
• Absolute pressure sensor in collector G71;
• Intake air temperature sensor G72.

The absolute pressure sensor in the manifold G71 gives the signal needed to check the boost pressure. The J248 Direct Fuel Injection Control Module compares the actual measured value with the set value on the charge pressure map. If the actual value deviates from the set value, the direct fuel injection engine control module J248 regulates the boost pressure using the bypass valve N75.
The charge pressure can no longer be adjusted. Engine performance decreases.
The J248 Direct Fuel Injection Diesel Control Module requires a signal generated by the intake air temperature sensor G72 as a correction value to calculate the boost pressure. He can then calculate the effect of temperature on the density of the inflated air.
If the G72 intake temperature sensor signal does not operate, the J248 Direct Fuel Injection Control Module uses a fixed value to calculate the boost pressure. This can reduce engine performance.
