Quantity Calculators

Converters for motorists and more

Why do different countries have different units, and how to use our converters?

Historically, different measurement systems have developed around the world: British (Imperial), metric, and others. That is why the US and UK use miles, gallons, and horsepower, while most European countries use kilometers, liters, and kilowatts. Our online converters allow you to quickly and easily convert the necessary values from one system to another.

For example, if you buy a car from the US and want to know its fuel consumption in liters per 100 km, simply enter the MPG (miles per gallon) value into the appropriate field, and the system will automatically calculate L/100 km. Likewise, you can compare speed in miles per hour (MPH) and kilometers per hour (KM/H).
