G70 mass air flow sensor

The G70 mass backflow sensor with backflow recognition is located in the intake manifold. It determines the mass of suction air. The action of opening and closing the valve causes backflows in the induced mass of air in the intake manifold. The G70 mass air flow sensor detects and takes into account the mass of return air in the signal it sends to the J248 direct fuel injection engine control module. Air mass is measured accurately.

Signal application

The J248 direct fuel injection diesel engine control module uses the measured values of the G70 mass air flow sensor to calculate the amount of injection and the recirculation rate of the exhaust gases.

Consequences of signal failure

If the signal from the G70 mass air flow sensor fails, the J248 Direct Fuel Injection Control Module uses a fixed replacement value.
