The error may be intermittent, so try to clean or replace the air filter to correct it. The cause of the problem may be damage to the wiring to the microprocessor module connector.
To check the flowmeter, follow these steps:
- In a car with the engine switched off, disconnect the connector with the contacts from the controller. Then you need to turn on the ignition, but do not start the power unit. A multimeter is needed to check the voltage between the contact elements;
- The sensor connector is equipped with five pins, the countdown is to the left, when viewed from the air flow from the filter. Between contacts 2 and 3 the rated voltage should be 10 volts, between 3 and 4 - 5 V. If there is a deviation, it is necessary to diagnose the integrity of the electrical circuit for precipices and leakage current;
- Under normal ignition values, the resistance between the "ground" and the fifth pin must be switched off and checked. The resulting parameter should be about 4-6 pcs. If the value obtained is 0 ohms, the sensor must be replaced. Also, the problem may be a short to ground. If the resistance parameter is 100 kО, the cause must be found in the power failure or engine control unit.
