Pump relay, fuel cooling J445 is located on the mounting bracket of the engine control module. The device element is activated by the J248 direct fuel injection engine control module; at a fuel temperature of 158 ° F (70 ° C) switches the operating current g for the V166 fuel cooling pump.

Consequences of breakage

If the J445 fuel cooling pump relay fails, the heated fuel flowing from the injector pump to the fuel tank is not cooled. The fuel tank and fuel level sensor G may be damaged.
