Pump-Nozzle

A nozzle pump is a pump that creates pressure; works with the control unit of the solenoid valve and the injector. Each engine cylinder has a separate pump-injector. This automatically eliminates the need for a high-pressure line or a distribution injector pump.

As well as the usual system with the distributive injector pump and separate nozzles, the new system of injection of the pump carries out the following functions:

• Creating the high pressure required for injection;
• Supply of fuel to the cylinders in the required amount at the specified time.

The pump-injector is installed directly in the cylinder head.

Important: the nozzle-nozzles are attached to the cylinder head by means of separate clamping blocks. It is important to make sure that the pump-injectors are correctly positioned after installation. Because if the pump-injectors are not installed perpendicular to the cylinder heads, the mountings may loosen. This is likely to cause damage.
