Fiat 500 service interval reset, Europe and America

Resetting the service interval for the Fiat 500 for the European market can be done using these steps:

• Insert the key into the ignition, but do not start the engine.
• Press and hold the "Mileage/Trip" button (may be labeled ODO or TRIP) on the dashboard.
• Turn on the ignition while continuing to hold the "Mileage/Trip" button.
• A reset message will appear on the screen.
• Keep the button pressed for about 10 seconds until the display shows a successful reset message.
• The reset message will disappear and the service interval indicator will be reset.

To reset the service interval for the Fiat 500 for the American market, you can do it with these steps:

• Insert the key into the ignition switch.
• Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
• Press the accelerator pedal (gas pedal) consecutively 5 times, the squeezes should be complete, to the end.
• Turn off the ignition.
• The service interval indicator will be reset.

Again, this is a general procedure and may not work on all Fiat 500 models. If you cannot reset the service interval indicator, contact a Fiat dealer or a specialist Fiat mechanic.
