Bypass valve regulator bypass valve N75

The engine has variable turbine geometry for optimal adaptation of charge pressure to real driving conditions. To regulate the boost pressure, the vacuum in the vacuum unit for adjusting the turbocharger blades is set depending on the duty cycle of the pulse. The N75 bypass valve regulator is activated by the J248 direct fuel injection engine control module.

Consequences of breakage

If the bypass valve of the bypass valve N75 fails, the vacuum unit returns to atmospheric pressure. As a result, the charge pressure decreases and the engine performance deteriorates.
