Barometric pressure sensor F96

The F96 barometric pressure sensor is located inside the J248 direct fuel injection engine control module.

Signal application

The F96 barometric pressure sensor sends the current ambient pressure to the J248 direct fuel injection engine control module. This value depends on the geographical height of the car. With this signal, the J248 Direct Fuel Injection Diesel Control Module can perform height adjustment to control boost pressure and exhaust gas recirculation.

Consequences of signal failure

There is black smoke.
