The B8 VW Passat has the ability to adjust the inclination of the passenger mirror in the passenger door control unit. In this way, the rear-view mirror will automatically lower on reverse gear.

 

 

To adjust the inclination of the passenger mirror, perform the following steps:

 

 

1. Choose the address of block 52 Electronic doors from the passenger.

 

2. Select the function 07 Coding.

 

3. Select Byte 04 .

 

4. Enable Bit 2 .

 

5. Enable Bit 3 .

 

 

6. Choose the Address of the central electricity control unit 09 .  

 

7. Select function 16 Secure access.

 

8. Enter the unlock code 31347 .

 

9. Select function 10 Adaptations.

 

10. Choose options in the following order:

 

• Access control 2;
• Drawdown on the Rueckwaertsfahrt.

 

11. Set the value to "active" to turn off the Display menu item in the radio / navigation system.

 

12. Choose options in the following order:

 

• Access control 2;
• Sink control menu.

 

13. Change all values to "active" .
