To unlock the TV tuner, follow these steps:

 

 

1. Select the control module 07 in VAG-COM / VCDS.

 

 

2. Select "Advanced ID - 1A" .

 

 

3. Send the value from the "Serial Number" field to the form below. If there is more than one serial number field, use the first one.

 

 

4. Select function 16 Access Security.

 

 

5. Enter the personal login code. To get it, click "Do It!" . If we get an "invalid code", we enter an alternative code. If no code works, the control module probably does not support VIM adaptation.

 

 

6. Select function 10 Adaptation.

 

 

7. Select channel 63 .

 

8. Click "Read" .

 

9. Set the value to 255 .

 

 

10. Choose "Press Test" .

 

 

11. Save.

 

 

12. Click "Finish, return" , close the controller and the program.

 

 

13. Restart MMI : simultaneously press and hold function keys 1 (settings), control button 2 and control key 3 in the upper right corner.

 

 

There is another way to reboot MMI 2G. We do it this way:

 

 

1. Select the control module 07 in VAG-COM / VCDS.

 

 

2. Select function 10 Adaptation.

 

 

3. Select channel 111 .

 

 

4. Check and save the value of 1 in this channel.

 

 

5. Press the "Done, return" button.
