The procedure for replacing and coding the battery is as follows:

1. Put a new battery.

2. Connect the VCDS diagnostic adapter.

3. Choose the Address of block 61 Oil regulation.

4. Select the function 07 Coding.

3. Choose the battery control function. Enter the following values:

• Battery number (10 or 11 digits);
• Battery serial number (10 digits).

5. Press " OK " and exit the controller.

By the way, if you do not know the serial number of the new battery, to register it you need to change the 1 digit in the serial number field and write a new encoding.
