In more or less modern cars, you can set the mileage to the service, and the device will remind the driver to change the oil. The standard interval is 15,000 km.

To reset and configure service intervals, perform the following steps:

1. Select the Address of block 17 Dashboard.

2. Select function 10 Adaptations.

3. Select Channel 2 .

4. Retain the existing value.

To configure service intervals, perform the following steps:

(instructions are for common A4 8E bodies)

1. Select the Address of block 17 Dashboard.

2. Select the function 10 Adaptations.

3. Choose the 42nd channel (minimum value, in thousand km).

4. Choose the 43rd channel (maximum value, in thousand km).

5. In each of these channels we keep the necessary values.

Accordingly, if, for example, in the 42nd channel to write the number 5, and in 43m-7, it turns out that during the run after 5 thousand km the indication "to service 2 tkm" will light up, and after 7 thousand km will appear persistent recommendation to go to the service.

Further.

On those devices where In1 or In2 (In1 In2) flashes in coma weights:

1. Select the Address of block 17 Dashboard.

2. Select function 10 Adaptations.

3. Choose:

  • 05 channel - OIL 0 thousand kilometers;
  • 06 channel - In1 in thousands of kilometers;
  • 07 channel - In1 in tens of days;
  • Channel 08 - In2 in thousands of kilometers.

That is, an example: go to channel 6 and put 10. 10 means that the next time In1 will light up after 10 thousand km.
